We're so incredibly excited and proud that we managed to create a song like As Soon As America! It's our first song that was written on the basis of a drum machine beat. Aesthetically, we were inspired by bands such as Twenty One Pilots, The 1975 and a lot of modern indie pop music and hip-hop in general. From the beginning onwards we aimed for a symbiosis of band sound, bedroom pop and gospel choir. If the relationship started to get a little uneven during demo recording, production or the mix, we immediately counteracted, because we wanted the track to not fit into any of these categories clearly.
